The Service and Accessibility Subcommittee acts as a voice for the industry on rulings, policies, regulations and consultations that determine standards of service and accessibility for airlines.
Mandate:
The Service and Accessibility Subcommittee (the “Subcommittee”) is
responsible for ensuring that member concerns and views with respect to
rulings, guidance material, regulations (proposed and in effect), and
consultations issued or being considered by the responsible governing
authorities on issues related to service standards and accessibility in
the airline industry are clearly communicated to relevant government
and non-government stakeholders. Moreover, when engaging on matters of
common concern, the Subcommittee will present a unified, concise,
well-researched voice to promote the development of fair, balanced,
rational, practical and mutually acceptable government policies and
regulations.
